Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the all-purpose flour, salt, and oil. Mix well until it resembles bread crumbs.
  2. Add water to the mixture slowly and knead until you have a smooth and firm dough. Cover the dough and let it rest for 20-30 minutes.
  3. In a separate pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Let the seeds sizzle for a few seconds.
  4. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
  5. Add chopped potatoes and cook for 5-7 minutes until they are soft.
  6. Add green peas, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.
  8. Divide the dough into small portions and roll each portion into a small circle.
  9. Cut each circle in half and form each half into a cone shape by bringing together the straight edge of the semicircle and pinching it together.
  10. Fill the cone with the vegetable mixture and seal the edges by applying water to the inner edges of the dough.
  11. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the samosas and fry until they are golden brown.
  12. Remove the samosas from the oil and place them on a paper towel to remove any excess oil.
